1. Our service
Azan Today provides free information about Islamic practice, including calculated prayer times, Hijri calendar dates, the Quran with translation and recitation, duas and simple tools. We may change, add or remove features at any time.
2. Informational content, not religious rulings
Our content is provided for general information and learning. It is not a fatwa or personal religious advice. For questions about your own circumstances, please consult a qualified scholar or your local imam. Please also read our disclaimer.
3. Prayer times, dates and tools
Prayer times, Qibla directions, Hijri dates, event dates and zakat figures are calculated estimates. They may differ from your local mosque, authority or moon-sighting announcement, which should take precedence. You are responsible for how you use them.
4. Copyright and permitted use
- The design of this site and our original explanatory text are owned by Azan Today. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with a link back to the source page.
- The Arabic Quran text comes from the Tanzil project and is used under its terms, which require it to be reproduced without change and with attribution. The English Quran translation is that of Marmaduke Pickthall (1930), which is in the public domain. Transliterations and audio recitations remain the property of their respective owners and are credited where they appear.
- You may not copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the site, or use it to build a competing service, without our written permission.
5. Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site: for example, do not attempt to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, access it in ways other than through the interface we provide, or use it for anything unlawful.
6. Adverts and links to other websites
The site links to other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of other websites, and a link is not an endorsement. If we add adverts in the future, the same applies to advertisers’ products.
7. No warranty
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Azan Today is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle information, cookies and advertising.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator is based, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country.
