Frequently asked questions
Are these Islamic tools free to use?
Yes. All tools on Azan Today are free and work in your web browser without an account or app download.
Do the tools store or share my data?
The Qibla finder uses your location only inside your browser, the tasbih counter saves your count only on your own device, and the zakat calculator does not store anything you enter. None of this information is sent to our servers.
Do the tools work offline?
Once a tool page has loaded, the calculations run in your browser, so the Qibla finder, tasbih counter and zakat calculator keep working even if your connection drops.
How accurate are the results?
The calculations follow standard, published methods: great-circle bearing for the Qibla, astronomical formulas for prayer times and the Umm al-Qura calendar for Hijri dates. Local moon sighting can differ from calculated Hijri dates by a day, and religious rulings such as zakat details should be confirmed with a qualified scholar.
