About prayer times in Beirut
Beirut lies at 33.89° N, 35.50° E. Clocks there follow the Asia/Beirut time zone and change for daylight saving: Eastern European Standard Time (UTC+2) in winter and Eastern European Summer Time (UTC+3) in summer. Every prayer time on the clock jumps by an hour on the changeover dates, and the timetable above already includes this. Dhuhr, which begins just after the sun passes its highest point, stays between 11:23 AM and 12:46 PM on the clock all year.
The Muslim World League convention is a common default in Lebanon and the wider Levant. With this method Fajr starts when the sun is 18° below the horizon before dawn, and Isha when it reaches 17° after sunset. If your mosque follows a different convention, change the method or the Asr setting above and every table on this page will update.
Over 2026, Fajr in Beirut is earliest on 14 June (3:42 AM) and latest on 23 October (5:26 AM), while Maghrib ranges from 4:29 PM to 7:53 PM. Daylight lasts from about 9h 53m around 20 December to 14h 25m around 19 June.
Ramadan 1448 AH: on the Umm al-Qura calendar, Ramadan is expected to run from about 8 February to 8 March 2027; the actual dates depend on moon sighting and may differ by a day in Lebanon. In Beirut, the first fast would run from Fajr at 5:05 AM to Maghrib at 5:15 PM (about 12h 10m), and by the last day from 4:36 AM to 5:40 PM (about 13h 04m). See the Ramadan guide for more.
The times on this page are the moments each prayer's time begins. On Fridays, Jumu'ah is prayed in congregation in place of Dhuhr. Mosques in Beirut usually announce their own congregation (jama'ah) times, which are set some minutes after the start times shown here.
