About prayer times in Bishkek

Bishkek lies at 42.87° N, 74.57° E. Clocks there follow Kyrgyzstan Time (UTC+6, time zone Asia/Bishkek) all year with no daylight saving changes, so prayer times move only gradually with the seasons. Dhuhr, which begins just after the sun passes its highest point, stays between 12:46 PM and 1:17 PM on the clock all year.

The Muslim World League angles are used as a default, and the Hanafi school is the majority practice in Kyrgyzstan. With this method Fajr starts when the sun is 18° below the horizon before dawn, and Isha when it reaches 17° after sunset. If your mosque follows a different convention, change the method or the Asr setting above and every table on this page will update.

The seasons make a big difference in Bishkek. In 2026, Fajr falls as early as 3:05 AM (15 June) and as late as 6:51 AM (2 January); Maghrib swings from 5:27 PM to 8:45 PM, and Isha can be as late as 10:51 PM. The day (sunrise to sunset) grows from about 9h 01m to 15h 21m.

Ramadan 1448 AH: on the Umm al-Qura calendar, Ramadan is expected to run from about 8 February to 8 March 2027; the actual dates depend on moon sighting and may differ by a day in Kyrgyzstan. In Bishkek, the first fast would run from Fajr at 6:33 AM to Maghrib at 6:23 PM (about 11h 50m), and by the last day from 5:53 AM to 6:59 PM (about 13h 06m). See the Ramadan guide for more.

The times on this page are the moments each prayer's time begins. On Fridays, Jumu'ah is prayed in congregation in place of Dhuhr. Mosques in Bishkek usually announce their own congregation (jama'ah) times, which are set some minutes after the start times shown here.
