About prayer times in Rabat

Rabat lies at 34.02° N, 6.84° W. Clocks there follow the Africa/Casablanca time zone (UTC+0) all year with no daylight saving changes, so prayer times move only gradually with the seasons. Dhuhr, which begins just after the sun passes its highest point, stays between 12:12 PM and 1:43 PM on the clock all year.

Morocco's Ministry of Habous uses a 19° Fajr and 17° Isha angle; the Egyptian method (19.5°/17.5°) is the closest built-in convention, so expect differences of a few minutes from official times. The Maliki Asr equals the standard setting. With this method Fajr starts when the sun is 19.5° below the horizon before dawn, and Isha when it reaches 17.5° after sunset. If your mosque follows a different convention, change the method or the Asr setting above and every table on this page will update.

Over 2026, Fajr in Rabat is earliest on 15 June (4:20 AM) and latest on 3 January (6:57 AM), while Maghrib ranges from 5:18 PM to 8:43 PM. Daylight lasts from about 9h 53m around 17 December to 14h 26m around 20 June.

Ramadan 1448 AH: on the Umm al-Qura calendar, Ramadan is expected to run from about 8 February to 8 March 2027; the actual dates depend on moon sighting and may differ by a day in Morocco. In Rabat, the first fast would run from Fajr at 5:47 AM to Maghrib at 6:04 PM (about 12h 17m), and by the last day from 5:17 AM to 6:29 PM (about 13h 12m). See the Ramadan guide for more.

The times on this page are the moments each prayer's time begins. On Fridays, Jumu'ah is prayed in congregation in place of Dhuhr. Mosques in Rabat usually announce their own congregation (jama'ah) times, which are set some minutes after the start times shown here.
