All times are local time in Stockholm (Europe/Stockholm), including any daylight saving changes. Hijri dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar and may differ by a day from local moon sighting. Fridays are shaded; Jumu'ah is prayed in place of Dhuhr.

About prayer times in Stockholm
Stockholm lies at 59.33° N, 18.07° E. Clocks there follow the Europe/Stockholm time zone and change for daylight saving: Central European Standard Time (UTC+1) in winter and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) in summer. Every prayer time on the clock jumps by an hour on the changeover dates, and the timetable above already includes this. Dhuhr, which begins just after the sun passes its highest point, stays between 11:32 AM and 12:55 PM on the clock all year.
The Muslim World League angles are used, combined with a high-latitude rule because twilight never fully ends during Swedish summer nights. With this method Fajr starts when the sun is 18° below the horizon before dawn, and Isha when it reaches 17° after sunset. If your mosque follows a different convention, change the method or the Asr setting above and every table on this page will update.
The seasons make a big difference in Stockholm. In 2026, Fajr falls as early as 2:44 AM (18 June) and as late as 6:12 AM (1 January); Maghrib swings from 2:47 PM to 10:08 PM, and Isha can be as late as 10:55 PM. The day (sunrise to sunset) grows from about 6h 05m to 18h 37m.
At 59.33° N, the sun does not sink 18° below the horizon on nights around midsummer, so true night never fully arrives and pure angle-based Fajr and Isha times would not exist or would be impractically far apart. These times apply the "seventh of the night" rule as a limit: Fajr is never earlier than one seventh of the night before sunrise, and Isha never later than one seventh of the night after sunset. Scholars and local mosques differ on high-latitude solutions (some use fixed times or the times of a nearer latitude), so it is worth comparing with your mosque's timetable in summer.
Ramadan 1448 AH: on the Umm al-Qura calendar, Ramadan is expected to run from about 8 February to 8 March 2027; the actual dates depend on moon sighting and may differ by a day in Sweden. In Stockholm, the first fast would run from Fajr at 5:31 AM to Maghrib at 4:23 PM (about 10h 52m), and by the last day from 4:36 AM to 5:33 PM (about 12h 57m). See the Ramadan guide for more.
The times on this page are the moments each prayer's time begins. On Fridays, Jumu'ah is prayed in congregation in place of Dhuhr. Mosques in Stockholm usually announce their own congregation (jama'ah) times, which are set some minutes after the start times shown here.

Prayer times in Stockholm: common questions
Which calculation method is used for prayer times in Stockholm?
By default this page uses the Muslim World League method (Fajr at 18°, Isha at 17°) with the standard (Shafi, Maliki and Hanbali) Asr time. The Muslim World League angles are used, combined with a high-latitude rule because twilight never fully ends during Swedish summer nights. You can change both settings at the top of the page.
What is the Qibla direction from Stockholm?
From Stockholm, the Qibla is 148.2° clockwise from true north, roughly south-southeast. The Kaaba in Makkah is about 4,554 km (2,830 miles) away along the shortest route over the Earth's surface.
How long is the Ramadan fast in Stockholm in 2027?
Ramadan 1448 AH is expected to begin on or around 8 February 2027 according to the Umm al-Qura calendar (the actual start depends on moon sighting and may differ by a day). In Stockholm, the fast from Fajr to Maghrib would last about 10h 52m on the first day and about 12h 57m by the last day.
Why might these times differ from my local mosque in Stockholm?
Mosques may use a different calculation method, a different Asr convention, their own safety margins of a few minutes, or local observation. The times here are the astronomical start times; congregation (jama'ah) times are usually set later by each mosque.
